Q: Can I use the battery in an electric outboard motor?

A:

It's not recommended to use the battery in an electric outboard motor as the surge discharge current might not be sufficient.

Outboard motors often require higher power for acceleration and sustained operation, which can lead to higher surge currents thatthe battery may not handle well.

If you need to battery for an electric outboard motor, our 12V100Ah OBM battery is recommended.
